Rava Ladu


                                                          Rava Ladoo
Ingrediants:-

Semolina(Rava/Sooji) - 2 cups
Ghee - 3/4 cup
Sugar - 2 cups
Milk - 1/4 cup
Cashews(halved) - for garnishing


Method:-

1)Heat 3 tbsp of ghee in a nonstick pan.

2)Add rava and stir till the rava is light brown.

3)Allow it to cool.

4)Fry cashews in ghee and keep it aside.

5)Powder rava and sugar in a blender so as to blend them together. Keep this aside.

6)Sprinkle milk over the mix.

7)Make small balls by pouring little by little milk.

8)Place one cashew to each ball.

Note:- Use of excess of milk will result in a very smooth mixture and will not be able to role out balls for the ladoo and also the ladoo's will not be firm.
Erode Pallipalayam chicken, one of the simple chicken recipe from that part of tamilnadu, hence the name.I got this recipe from a tamil magazine and modified a little bit.



Note : The original recipe doesn't call for turmeric and coriander powders.
